Car

The Ford Fiesta MK. 7 RWD we will use in the 2011 FIA European Rallycross Championship is based on Group A touring car regulations. We have chosen to race in this class as it provides an entertaining package for both driver and spectators due to all the cars being rear wheel drive (RWD). This is in stark contrast to the front wheel drive (FWD) machinery I have competed in throughout the past 7 years of Rallycross. The class runs to strict rules based on engine capacity and minimum weight, all else is pretty much a free reign. The class allows for a very strong input from the engineering side of Rallycross.
